Hi, I'm Marcus Seixas. I was born in Alagoas, one of Brazil’s smallest states. As the headline says, not long ago I was an MMA fighter. That might seem like an odd detail for a creative portfolio, but I believe that background gave me a deep respect for hard work, collaboration, and a love for fast, strategic thinking.
My story in advertising began 10 years ago when I landed my first job as an Art Director. It was the only opportunity I had to get into the industry — and I didn’t think twice.
Since then, I've had the honor of working on ideas that were featured in media like CNN, Fast Company, Vice, Muse by Clio, and Lürzer's Archive. Some of these projects have been recognized at major creative festivals including Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, New York Festivals, the São Paulo Creative Club, the Portugal Creative Club, Cristal Festival, Epica Awards, and AdStars — with Gold, Silver, Bronze, or shortlists.
Today, I’m deeply committed to the most important project of my life: being fully present in the childhood of my little boy, Francisco.
